Instant Kichdi

Ingredients:
-
2 cup rice
-
1/2 cup of moong dal
-
1 /2 cup masoor dal
-
4-5 cups of water
-
1 tsp of salt
-
1/2 tsp turmeric
-
2 tsp of oil
-
2-3 dry red chillies, cut into pieces
-
A few curry leaves, torn into pieces
-
one small onion, thinly diced
Preparation Method:
Take a 4qt cooker pan and add rice, moong dal, masoor dal, cut red chillies, vegetables for your choice, turmeric, salt, curry leaves and little oil. To this add water. Cook for 6-7 whistles and serve hot with Ghee.
